The past two years have brought on a lot more emotional and financial distress than most of us wanted. Many lost their jobs, businesses, and sense of self. While there has been some recovery, many are having difficulty finding their way back to normalcy and with that, peace of mind. Given this reality, we are sharing three paths to upgrade yourself out of the negative and into the positive.
Define Your Purpose
Many walk through life going with the flow, no specific plan. If the first plan fails, they become despondent and trapped in a cycle of sameness. Having a clear understanding gives you a clearer vision. That may require learning new skills or upgrading old ones, and you might have to ask for help from someone who can teach you how to simplify the process. It will require more discipline and some sacrifices to really become laser focused on how you are going to bring about the change you desire.
Financial Upgrade
Assess your status now and where you want to be. Recognize that it won’t happen overnight. Set a specific figure to achieve in the first month, then a six month steady increase is a good starting point. Decide on the vehicle that will drive this additional income; getting a raise, getting a higher paying job, a second job, investments, or starting a side hustle. Again, be very specific when laying out your plan of action.

Physicality
It’s a fact that the healthier and stronger our physical bodies are, the more energized and confident we feel. Investing the time to keep your self as close to YOUR fittest physical self is a necessary investment into your upgrade.
Your diet is a key component of maintaining your best physical self. Proper nutrition is not about perfect eating, but being mindful of consuming nutrient-rich foods versus junk. Treat your body like a Ferrari – you don’t put low grade gas in a high end machine if you want it to run at its optimal best.

However you choose to get physically better, treat it like a non-negotiable in your life. Dedicate yourself to the plan completely. Leave no room for excuses or half steps; dig deep, find the hunger, and feed it with hard work relentlessly until you achieve the set goal.
