Discipline
Discipline is one of the most important things you can adopt and practice. It’s one thing to wish for the easy way out, it’s another to work for it. It’s also a whole other thing to be consistent at it. It’s a muscle that must be formed and used with regularity of you are to see results. Once you train your mind to do what you say you are going to do, you start to create habits. When you develop habits, you build routines and slowly but surely that routine becomes your lifestyle.
When you work to make discipline a long-term strategy, you will see long-term benefits. These can include:
- Improved health
- Emotional stability
- Resisting vices
- Overall increase mental positivity
Delight
Speaking of mental positivity, it’s time you feel that sweet feeling of delight. You’ve gone through the most challenging part of your journey and it’s time to praise yourself for the hard work you put in. Now that you’ve seen what discipline has taught you, you start to look at life from the lens of necessity as opposed to indulgence.

Look at the stair, not the whole staircase
When you feel drudgery come back, and it will come back, it’s important you have a plan in place. Take a moment, breathe, zoom out your perspective to see all you have accomplished. Know that it is possible to create a better life for yourself. All it takes is believing in yourself and staying devoted to becoming the best version of you. When you meet that version of you, you will love them. Remember, when you need to, revisit the three D’s of Devotion.
