Welcome to Episode 66 of the Gent’s Talk podcast. We sat down with Slim Stunta (also known as Stunt Lifestyle) in Miami, Florida, to learn the secrets to building a media empire. The host of the massively successful “We In Miami” podcast has a prominent personality. We were able to speak about the man behind that persona and discover why he keeps that person reserved. During our conversation, we discussed health, mental wellness, and the importance of having the right circle around you.
Welcome to Miami
When you think of places to party, Miami is atop the list. The problem is that the warm weather, late nights, and loud music are attractive but distracting. Admitting life’s unpredictability, Stunt Lifestyle has learned that “sometimes you fall into your destiny by mistake.” His key to success in Miami has been his ability to turn it all off. He mentioned that “taking time off just to do nothing in silence” has helped him tremendously. Stating that keeping a close-knit group of friends is essential, he also noted that his mother helps keep him grounded. “You gotta be able to get away from it all,” declared Stunt Lifestyle, “if not, it’ll consume you [and] drive you crazy.”

The mighty algorithm
We spoke about how society has become so addicted to virality that if a post doesn’t go viral immediately, it is often considered a failure. Stunt Lifestyle feels that the reason many don’t succeed is that people quit too early. Having been in the industry for some time now, he has learned the value of sticking it out and waiting for results.
“Don’t be a slave to the algorithm,” Stunt Lifestyle advised listeners. Meaning when creating content, do it for passion, and try not to focus on the numbers. Learning from his experiences, he urges creators not to get discouraged if their project doesn’t go viral instantly. Listen as Stunt Lifestyle speaks about breaking down after his first episode of We In Miami flopped.
Dealing with distractions
Stunt Lifestyle is nothing short of electric, from hanging with rockstars to driving fancy gold cars. There are many distractions, but ensuring that the people around him inspire him keeps him focused. With a focus on living in the present, Stunt Lifestyle stresses that we should always try to have something to look forward to in life. He made sure he thanked his mother for keeping him grounded.
