Everyone loves good food and everyone loves music. It therefore only makes sense when food and music come together to support emerging artists across Canada. Popular Canadian DJ Charlie B and growing Canadian restaurant chain Mary Brown’s Chicken are partnering up to do just that with its new Tasty Mix series.
The initiative is aimed at supporting emerging DJs from coast-to-coast and is a first of its kind in Canada. “Mary Brown’s is a Canadian company and I’m a proud Canadian. It made sense,” says DJ Charlie B.

Calling all aspiring DJs! The Tasty Mix is an opportunity for the country’s emerging talents to showcase their abilities. Those selected will have the opportunity to be promoted on a national scale through significant AD spend.

Community Building
Mary Brown’s Chicken, an active community supporter, has been involved in several fund-raising efforts through its national charity, the BGC Canada (formerly Boys and Girls Club). DJ Charlie B, also an active community supporter, has been involved in numerous projects throughout his career including the Black health Alliance and Jessie’s Centre. The initiative is ultimately about giving back and supporting others. He notes, “Mary Brown’s Chicken is all about the community and so am I. This is a great opportunity give back to that community.”
