Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. A phrase made popular in the 1950s when Marilyn Monroe first sang the song of the same name in the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
There’s also something unique about a man who knows how to accessorize, especially with jewelry. It can make an entire outfit come together when done correctly. David Yurman’s upcoming City Elements Collection plans to help gents locate that timeless piece of jewelry to stand out in a crowd.

Symbolism
The collection, which launched on June 8th, is a celebration of inspirational cities worldwide, including Toronto and Vancouver. The last few years have been far from what we could have predicted, but things are finally starting to come around full circle. Speaking of, the circle is a shape without a beginning or end and is considered the earliest, simplest, and most perfect form.
David Yurman’s designs have captured this universal symbol with extensive meaning. Circles symbolize perfection. It represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, and all cyclic movement. It has been a long pandemic for us all. We have our own, or at least have heard, an inspiring story during the pandemic of unity, perseverance, and optimism. This collection is an ode to it all. The Elements collection continues to explore inclusivity and hope through the symbolism of the circle.
