Behind the Scenes with Russell Peters on set of the very first Gent’s Talk podcast episode
If you’ve ever been to one of his shows, you’ll know that Russell has never been one to shy away from discussing his emotions. As he stated, he likes to use comedy as an escape because “comedy is my therapy”. When it comes to powering through a rough patch, Russell reiterated how pivotal it is to have people close to you that “just know.” What comes so effortlessly to him is often difficult for others, and he credits his openness for his ability to do so.
“I’m also very open about everything. I’m not the guy that keeps things a secret. When you internalize it, it eats you up.”

About The Condo Store
The story began with a simple objective: the acquisition of pre-construction condominiums – in bulk. With one meeting in 2002 between serial entrepreneur Simon S. Mass and real estate executive, John Mehlenbacher, the foundation was established, and The Condo Store Group of Companies was born. 17 years later and $25 billion in investments, the business thrives today and has within its management some of the leading minds in the real estate sector.
