Be Like Mike
When asked about advice for someone struggling to take the jump into the nomadic lifestyle, he states that to be able to do so, you only need one of the three following things:
- Work in a trade
- Ability to work remotely
- Have passive income
With at least one of these, one can live anywhere. Fear is the main thing holding most people back. When faced with a difficult decision, Michael Motamedi makes sure to ask himself two crucial questions:
- Will my younger self be proud?
- Will my future self be thankful?
If those questions don’t receive a resounding yes, then there’s no point in continuing.
Please tune into Episode 5, as the Gents discussed how you can redefine who you are at any moment and “not let society dictate your happiness.” They touched on the pros and cons of the entrepreneurial mindset, hustle porn, and the importance of collecting experiences/memories vs collecting possessions.
