We recently got to sit down with none other than Karl Wolf on the Gent’s Talk podcast! The Lebanese-born Canadian musician has been no stranger to adversity, and he shared some stories (and advice!) with us during Episode 10. His highly motivational energy is infectious.
Listen as Karl Wolf discusses DJing from age 14, some of the trials and tribulations of his smash-hit ‘Africa,’ and the importance of having the discipline to concentrate on where/how you want to focus your money/energy.

Do It Yourself
Karl explained how “keeping your hunger” is essential when it comes to being successful and to help ensure longevity in whatever your craft is. We mustn’t give up, and failure not being an option is what Karl embodies. The hardest part is maintaining the hunger that got you where you are.
Too many people get stagnant and plateau when they should keep progressing. Karl refers to success as punching a wall. “You gotta keep punching the wall. Eventually, it’s going to crack.” People often continuously punch and then give up, not realizing how close they are to breaking through the wall. If you genuinely want it, you must keep punching that wall yourself. No one is going to do it for you.
Be sure to check out Karl Wolf’s new single ‘DIY (Do It Yourself)’. DIY was released on September 2nd, and is available now on all streaming platforms!
