Kellogg’s Vector is challenging Canadians to get off the couch this summer and get active and they’ve enlisted a pro’s help. Emerging out of the last few years of endless television binging, it’s obvious we could all use a little less screen time and a little more outdoors time. Vector and professional hockey player Morgan Rielly have partnered to inspire Canadians to cancel their streaming services and you can win big.

Unsubscribe
“At Vector, we live and breathe all things sports,” says Emma Eriksson, Vice President, Marketing & Wellbeing, Kellogg Canada Inc. “Unsubscribe for Sports is the brand’s latest rally cry to help reawaken and celebrate the passion and joy that comes with being an everyday athlete and encourage Canadians to get back out there and play the sports they love.”

Morgan Rielly adds, “I love playing sports with my buddies and know first-hand the multitude of benefits it brings, so partnering with Kellogg’s Vector on this campaign was a natural choice.” To enter, Canadians can cancel their streaming service and upload proof of their subscription cancellation at www.unsubscribeforsports.ca where each entry will receive one free Vector product coupon. Additionally, there’s a chance to win of three pre-paid gift cards valued at $2500 each to purchase gear.
“I encourage all Canadians to ‘unsubscribe for sports’ this summer and get out there and rediscover their inner athlete – I know I’ll be out there doing the same this off-season,” notes Rielly.
Ball Hockey
Kellog’s Vector and Rielly put on a mini-ball hockey game in Toronto for some sports enthusiasts and media alike. The game took place at Sherway Gardens’ parking lot and while the game was intense, team Gent’s Post (self-dubbed) came out victorious by a whopping 16-5 final against team Rielly. Yours truly put up 2 goals and 2 assists but the real MVP was the goalie who was stellar stifling Rielly’s attempts.
