Many of us stay stuck in situations we dislike because we fear the unknown. The unknown, however, is where we really get to learn the true power that lies within us. Failure is just another way of learning but only if you become committed to improving yourself. If you find yourself in a position where you know you’re unhappy but you’re actively choosing to do nothing, then you may be one of those people who fear’s failure. Here are some tips to help jumpstart your enthusiasm for overcoming failure.
Stop Comparing
We sometimes spend so much time equating ourselves to others that it cripples us. Sure, you may not have the wealth and adventure that someone else does, but does that mean you can’t get it? Don’t get stuck thinking, “why bother it won’t happen for me.” That way of thinking will have us stuck and envious verses motivated and progressing. We each have our own journey, embrace it, push forward. Be ok with your own progress but make sure you are actively putting in all the work necessary.

Change Your Perspective
Broaden how you view your life and situations in it. Just because you tried something once and didn’t get the desired results doesn’t mean you ARE a failure. Rather consider that perhaps your methods need some adjusting. Or perhaps it just wasn’t the right time for that particular situation to play out the way you had hoped. Focus on changing your perspective to how you will overcome the obstacles and make it happen for yourself.
Imagine the Worst
Fear is caused by not knowing and also thinking something could go very wrong. Well, play those scenarios out to the fullest in your mind and then play out all the scenarios of it going amazingly right. The energy you put in and your actions to make it happen will help you manifest it into reality. Now you can still plan for the worst. This is called contingencies. Have a contingency plan and still take the risk to push past where you are now. Trust me, it’s worth it.
