Oxford
By far my personal favorite shoe, Oxfords can be worn for formal or business. Oxfords most commonly have a closed lace system and eyelets that fall below the ankle. There is a natural elegance to the oxfords which effortlessly makes a sophisticated statement ideally in black.
Brogues
Scotch is not the only thing the Irish gave us. Brogues originated from Ireland and refers to the decorative nature, broguing. North Americans call these Wingtips. Pick a style: full cap, semi cap, or quarter, that suits you and you have a staple. These are great in light and dark brown colors. They work for semi-formal to casual occasions.
Loafers
As the name suggests, a loafer is a relaxed shoe but there is nothing lazy or unassuming about them. Whether you go with a penny loafer or tassels, a loafer says I am about this life in a bold way and can take you from formal to casual, sockless, or with socks. It is a statement maker in warmer weather and early fall.
Chelsea Boots
No matter the season, no other boot steps up your style game like a sleek pair of Chelsea Boots. The traditional leather Chelsea boot has no zippers or buckles but a stretchable fabric on either side by the ankle and usually has a small tab on the back to help you pull them on. Chelsea Boots, unlike any other, can be worn with your suit, slim-fit slacks, or fitted tapered jeans and gives you a stylish look. Get yourself a pair in olive green leather and you are well ahead of the pack.
White Sneaker
Last but not least and arguably the coolest entry is the all-white sneaker. It goes with most things and just looks clean. Wear with slacks, jeans, chinos and some even wear them with suits for a more relaxed look. They just work!
