Priced at $280 CAD, the Sylan 2 is built specifically for trail races and FKTs, targeting runners who demand propulsion without sacrificing control. According to the Spring/Summer 2026 tech sheet, the new iteration sheds 20 grams compared to its predecessor, delivering a lighter, more responsive ride with improved efficiency and energy return.

At the heart of the shoe is a rocker-shaped midsole designed to propel runners from foot strike to toe-off. The geometry has been refined for added stability, with the rocker now more contained in the forefoot and a redesigned heel allowing runners to sink into the tooling for a more grounded feel on uneven terrain. An ultra-responsive supercritical foam compound maximizes propulsion while reducing fatigue, helping athletes stay in peak mode deep into long efforts.
A carbon-fibre composite plate further enhances stability, giving runners the confidence to “let it rip” on unpredictable mountain trails. The stack height sits at 31.5mm in the heel and 25.5mm in the forefoot with a 6mm offset, balancing cushioning and responsiveness for aggressive pacing .

The specs
Up top, the Sylan 2 features an engineered jacquard knit upper constructed from a super light blend of nylon, TPU, and TPE. The updated flat-knit tongue improves foot containment and ventilation, enhancing comfort and breathability over extended distances – great for your long distance runs. Underfoot, a Vibram Megagrip outsole with LITEBASE technology provides durable traction while minimizing weight. A newly refined stepped 4.5mm/3.5mm lug pattern sheds dirt more efficiently and delivers smoother transitions across varied terrain.
