A blend of food, music and ambiance collide in this southwestern-inspired spot in the heart of downtown Toronto. Come for the food, stay for the vibes at Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit! and don’t forget the drinks of course.
Ambiance
With a live DJ, this place will definitely get you vibing. It’s also a great spot for a friends outing. There are lots of shareable plates, the crowd is lively and the energy in the place is contagious.

Menu
We started off with some drinks first (of course). Also, the aesthetic of the bar…so nice. Ordered the Spicy Margarita that uses Tromba Blanco tequila and is rimmed with Tajin. It was the right blend of kick and taste. Had to order a second.
With such a unique menu of options, it was important to try some new things. The Truffle & Asparagus Huarache was up first. It comes on this bread like base, the asparagus wasn’t overly crunchy and the mushrooms were a nice feature. Great way to start the meal. Next came what could be considered a main dish on its own because of sheer size – the Lobster Thermador Nachos. Anyone who enjoys a plate of nachos has to add this to their list. It is literally a lobster spread out over a plate of nachos and it is as good as it sounds!
Finally, came my new favourite at this spot, the Wagyu Burger & Tater Tots. Before I go any further, take a look at this photo courtesy of yours truly:
Salivating yet? Well you should be. The meat was great, the sauce was great, the bun was toasty and overall my favourite part of the meal.
To top it all off came the dessert. I must say that the last time I had churros was in southern Italy almost six years ago. So when I saw Brown Sugar Churros on the menu, I had to at least try it. Dessert-lovers, also add to your list.
Final Thoughts
Definitely check this place out. The service was great and super friendly. The time between ordering drinks and food to actually getting your order was quick. Also, the kitchen is apparently downstairs so kudos to the wait staff for being so efficient. The music and energy in the space can get loud so this isn’t your intimate setting if that’s the mood you are going for. More like a friends get together. Still good for date night of course, but more like second, third date maybe?
