As we continue to fret about the ever increasing price at the pump, one automaker has made its mark in the electric automobile space. The fully electric Volvo EX90 is just the beginning as Volvo aims to go fully electric by 2030. The automaker also aims to be a climate-neutral company by 2040.
Safety First
With the latest in sensor technology, the Volvo EX90 boasts a series of cameras and radars connected to the base computer where NVIDIA Drive runs Volvo Cars’ in-house software. This leaves you and those you care about feeling safe and protected with constant detection on the roads.
Computer on Wheels
With a 14.5-inch center screen alongside Google apps and services, everything you need is available at the touch of your finger. Intuitive navigation, top line audio systems and standard 5G connection will give you top of the line options. Speaking of audio, the Volvo EX90 features Dolby Atmos that includes 25 speakers for a more immersive sound experience throughout the cabin.
“The Volvo EX90 is a statement for where we are, and where we are going,” said Jim Rowan, our chief executive. “It’s fully electric with a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge, designed to further raise our safety standards, the first Volvo car to be truly defined by its software and part of a wider ecosystem, connecting to your home and your other devices. The Volvo EX90 is the start of something new for Volvo Cars in many ways.”

On a single charge you can drive up to 480kms. What’s more, you can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes. For those who really want to have fun, the car has the built-in technology that will allow for bi-directional charging. That means this vehicle allows you to use your car battery as an extra piece of energy supply. So whether you want to power other devices, another Volvo or even your home, this car will do just that. This feature will be released publicly at an undetermined date in selected markets.
