Maximilian Günther + Jehan Daruvala
The excitement builds following September’s reveal of Maserati MSG Racing’s formidable driver lineup for the 2024 season. The team welcomes back race winner Maximilian Günther and introduces this year’s standout rookie, Jehan Daruvala. This should set the stage for an exhilarating new chapter in the electric single-seater championship. “I’m very much looking forward to kicking off the season in Mexico City”, notes Günther. “We’ve had a great off-season, made some good steps forwards and the spirit within the team is strong”. Daruvala adds, “It’s fair to say that I’m really excited for my debut with Maserati MSG Racing in Mexico – what an iconic place to start my journey as a Formula E driver”.
Maserati MSG Racing’s previous season was marked by impressive performances, consistently vying for top ten spots and securing sixth place in the championship. This success was buoyed by three podium finishes and a thrilling race victory by Max Günther. The German driver has been a source of pride for Trident enthusiasts, delivering remarkable achievements. The list includes a first-place finish in Jakarta and a third-place podium in Rome, Maserati’s home race.
2025, all electric
The year 2024 represents a pivotal moment for Maserati, with a focus on attaining new heights in competitive performance and technological advancement. This return to the track not only reaffirms the brand’s rich winning heritage in racing but also highlights a historic milestone in embracing Folgore, Maserati’s all-electric range. By 2025, Maserati plans to offer an all-electric version across all its models.
With a record-breaking 17 races, Season 10 promises to be the longest in Formula E history. This season introduces new Asian venues in Tokyo and Shanghai. Additionally, the Misano Adriatico Circuit will replace Rome as the sole Italian race in the calendar, presenting a special “home stage” for Maserati’s fervent supporters in Motor Valley and beyond.
