This new outdoor-themed capsule, designed for the 2024 NBA All-Star event, features Canadian NBA player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as the face of the collection and the latest campaign, marking his role as the new Global Brand Ambassador. Gilgeous-Alexander is renowned not just for his basketball skills but also for his remarkable style, making him one of the most influential figures in the NBA fashion scene. Canada Goose’s CEO, Dani Reiss, expressed that Colm’s designs for the collaboration perfectly embody the intersection of culture and community that the NBA represents, infused with Canada Goose’s renowned performance luxury aesthetic.
The limited-edition collection showcases KidSuper’s eclectic and lively design ethos, blending art, culture, and sports in Dillane’s bold streetwear approach. By integrating Dillane’s maximalist style, known for its creativity and vibrancy, with Canada Goose’s classic designs, the collection presents a playful yet functional ensemble. Central to the collection are Dillane’s original artworks, including “Purple Crowd,” depicting an abstract group of enthusiastic fans in a stadium, and “Landscape,” illustrating snowy mountain peaks and frozen waters, reflecting Canada Goose’s ethos of embracing the outdoors. The limited edition pieces evoke a sense of youthful wonder through their energetic and dynamic designs.
The collection will be available in-store and online soon, at Canada Goose starting February 8th, 2024.
