The reigning champions Red Bull were the last team to unveil their new piece of machinery ahead of the 2024 season which kicks off in Bahrain on March 2. The RB20 was unveiled at the Milton Keynes base with superstar drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez both in attendance. It should be another interesting year for F1 with as much going on off the track as there is on it.

What’s new, staying
The colour scheme is the same but the power in this Red Bull unit is expected to supersede its predecessor the RB19. How much better this vehicle will be is yet to be determined. Verstappen, Red Bull’s main driver, expects to carry on his impressive run. In 2023 he secured 19 of 22 wins on his way to his third drivers’ title.
2024 should present an interesting set of challenges. Team driver Sergio Perez placed second overall and has his sights on first while Mercedes, Ferrari and Aston Martin continue to push for better results. Of course all eyes will be on Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton after the superstar made it known this will be his final year before swapping for a red suit in 2025.
