Las Vegas has a way of drawing you in. It’s the type of place that doesn’t just entertain—you leave with stories, inside jokes, and a strange appreciation for sequins. And while it’s long been a go-to for bachelor parties and roulette runs, Vegas also knows how to offer something more curated: a weekend that feels bold, refreshing, and, above all, fun.

Things to do: Curated activities for the high-energy explorer
The lists are endless…but if you’re looking to have a fun relaxing time while satisfying that competitive side of you, I got you covered. You’re welcome.
Darts, but make it stylish: Flight Club
Start your trip with a surprising twist on an old classic—darts. But at Flight Club, it’s a fully immersive social experience. Think upscale bar bites, electric design, and a space that feels built for camaraderie. It’s competitive fun without the pressure and a brilliant icebreaker if you’re traveling with a crew. Easily the best way to start your weekend.
Swing, sip, repeat: Topgolf Las Vegas
Disclaimer: I’m not a golfer. I don’t regularly play golf, and outside of Tiger Woods highlights, I’ve never watched golf on TV. BUT…Topgolf is an unexpected crowd-pleaser, even for those who’ve never held a golf club. Spacious bays, lounge-style seating, and full food and drink service mean you’re just as likely to be sipping cocktails as practicing your backswing. With a range of games to pick from, it’ll bring out your competitive side and everyone there is just having a good time. Plus, morning sessions come with discounts—perfect for a low-key start to a full Saturday.

A need for speed: The F1 Experience
Another disclaimer: I’m an F1 fan…big time. Thing is, F1 weeks are few and far in between sometimes and you need to get your F1 fix. Which is why I needed to fuel the adrenaline with a visit to the F1 Experience. It’s part simulation, part education, and all part need for speed. This is a must for any racing fan—or anyone looking to do something a little different than another poolside morning. P.s. there’s a boost option on the karts…it’s great on the straights.
Places to eat: From statement dinners to comfort classics
Is Vegas the best food destination in the United States? There’s definitely an argument to be made there as all the biggest names in the culinary world have made their statements here. A foodie’s food dream comes to life here…
Welcome bites: Vanderpump à Paris
Set the tone on night one with cocktails and small plates at Vanderpump à Paris. With its rich, moody interior and French-inspired flair, this hotspot is as much about the aesthetic as it is about the food. It’s elegant, a little playful, and perfect for easing into your weekend with a sense of style. Situated at Paris, it’s a must visit on your weekend food tour.

Dinner at Caesars Palace’s Stanton Social Prime is a high-note experience and quite frankly among the best dinning experiences I’ve had in Las Vegas. Designed by the team behind some of New York’s top dining destinations, this steakhouse-meets-social-lounge space offers inventive dishes, exceptional wine, and a vibe that balances upscale with intimate. It’s a great pick for dinner when you’re hitting your stride. Here’s a little tip, if your party is large enough, ask for the “Godfather” booth. Trust me, it’s epic.
Brera Osteria: Italian elegance with a patio view
Tucked into the heart of St. Mark’s Square at The Venetian, Brera Osteria offers a true taste of Milanese-inspired Italian dining—without the jet lag (thankfully). Expect handmade pastas, decadent cheeses, and richly layered flavours that do more than satisfy—they charm. The patio seating under the painted sky is ideal for lingering over a glass of Barolo while people-watching or toasting to the start (or end) of your day. If you’re looking for comfort food elevated with sophistication, this spot checks every box. Suggestion: Get the massive veal parm…how many different ways can I say Bon Appetito?
Stubborn Seed: Miami flavour, Vegas fire
James Beard Award-winning Chef Jeremy Ford brings bold, elevated American cuisine from Miami to Las Vegas with Stubborn Seed’s newest location at Resorts World. This isn’t just dinner—it’s a sensory journey. Think truffle-tagged ricotta gnudi, smoked and seared proteins, and unexpected desserts that feel more like fine art than final course. The space is sleek and sultry, perfect for those moments when you want dinner to feel like an event. Pro tip: book early, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised by every bite.

Experiences to explore…and revel
There’s an unlimited number of things to do in Las Vegas…and for the most part at all times of the day. But if you’re looking to experience epic visuals, curated performances, late night laughs and just a good vibe, here’s a few of the things to do in Las Vegas.
Hit the stage: Live shows & late-night laughs
Vegas thrives after dark, and your itinerary should too. Between the acrobatic wonder of Cirque du Soleil and side-splitting sets at the Comedy Cellar, your evenings come alive with performance. The performances are exactly what you expect but still better than you expected. Add in an impromptu visit to O’Sheas Pub for post-show nightcaps, and the whole day flows into a rhythm you won’t want to end.
The Sphere: Sensory meets spectacle
No trip to Vegas is complete without a little awe—and The Sphere delivers exactly that. You’ve heard all about the epic shows, the wild visual effects and the sensory experiences you get when visiting this wonder of the entertainment world. But nothing compares to experiencing it live. And what better way than to watch a generational boy band from the 90s / 2000s bring it back for the Millenium tour. Whether you’re seeing a headlining act like the Backstreet Boys or catching a one-of-a-kind visual showcase, the space itself is worth the ticket. Its immersive visuals and surround sound make it unlike any venue you’ve experienced. This really is entertainment reimagined.
Little discoveries that add up
What makes a Vegas trip unforgettable aren’t just the marquee moments—it’s the in-betweens. It’s finding a vintage pinball machine at O’Sheas. Or watching a live busker light up a corner on the Strip. It’s tasting something new, laughing until you cry, or finally beating your friend at darts. Let the moments breathe. They become the ones you remember most.

A Vegas weekend doesn’t have to be a blur of clubs and chaos. With the right mix of planning and space for spontaneity, it can be a three-day escape packed with laughter, flavour, and the kind of fun that feels both energizing and nourishing. The itinerary above proves that you can do it all—without doing too much. Whether you’re reuniting with friends or treating yourself to a well-earned break, Las Vegas has it all. And when done right, it doesn’t just live up to the hype—it redefines what a weekend away can look like.
