After testing the waters, if you will, with their “boyfriend collection” back in May of 2022, Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, Skims has finally launched their men’s underwear collection called SKIMS Mens. Skims for him, if you will. 😉 But in typical Kardashian fashion, it couldn’t just be a simple launch…nope. A star-studded campaign was needed, and this one is featuring Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr, San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa and Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Skims is not just for your girl friends…
Skims, while also known for its Boyfriend Collection featuring unisex styles in the past, has now ventured into creating products specifically for men. According to Kardashian, the brand has “never had a bigger request than to launch,” as told to GQ. Initially, the unisex offerings were intended to kickstart her men’s line. However, a change in strategy occurred after feedback from her brother, Rob Kardashian, prompting a shift in plans.
“My brother was trying it all on for me and being my fit model, and thought that the material was a bit too thin and had a lot of notes,” added Kim. Who later went on a 3-year process of creating this full new menswear range we now see today.
The final SKIMS Mens collection, set to release tomorrow on October 26, features a pricing range from $28 CAD and up. Offering a variety of sizes, ranging from XS to 5X. Divided into 3-collections based on fabrics: Stretch for a lightweight feel, Cotton for everyday wear, and Sport designed to enhance performance.
The Sport collection holds particular significance for Kardashian, who shared with GQ that it draws inspiration from her experiences engaging in sports with her children, making it a daily part of their lives. Her daughter’s love for basketball and her son’s involvement in American football and soccer, played a role in shaping this collection. Kardashian also expressed her excitement about having some of her children’s sports idols featured in the campaign, describing it as a “pinch me” moment.
In the campaign, Bosa, Neymar and Gilgeous-Alexander put the sporty pieces to the test. Where Bosa shows off his skills by tossing a football dressed in the white SKIMS Stretch Men’s Tank ($146 CAD for a 3-pack) and the SKIMS Stretch Men’s 3” Boxer Brief ($20). Meanwhile, Neymar demonstrates his soccer prowess, kicking a soccer ball while modeling the SKIMS Sport collection, including the T-Shirt ($74 CAD) and Boxer Brief ($40 CAD). Whereas, Gilgeous-Alexander’s ensemble features the SKIMS Sport Men’s Legging ($90 CAD).

Where can you get SKIMS Mens collections in Canada?
You know we’re always looking out… The prices quoted in the article are as marked on the SKIMS website, in Canada dollars–and do ship to Canada, from SKIMS.com exclusively for now.
That said, the brand does have partnerships with several retailers in Canada, so hopefully we will see these become even more accessible soon enough from retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue, SSENSE, Mr Porter and Holt Renfrew.
