Date night in the city and french was on the mind. Situated unassumingly in Little Portugal, BOUFFE by ADJEY is a French restaurant that delivers on quality and taste.

Menu
Starting off with the Lobster Croquettes and Steak Tartare, it was immediately evident that this small and intimate spot was big and loud in flavour. These were immediately followed by the Escargots which were unlike any I’ve tried before.

The main course consisted of the Duck Duex Fois and Steak Frites. The meats were tender and fresh. You know it was fresh because Chef Adjey routinely posts to his socials how often he personally selects the items from the shops. On the side this included a Duck Confit Poutine because, why not right? the Dessert came in the form of an Apple Tarte Tatin and the Creme Brûlée.
Vibe
The space is intimate, from the outside it looks unassuming. But inside it’s bustling and Chef Adjey makes it a point to come out every so often and mingle with the guests. He tells stories of life in New Work and Paris. The passion evident, the craftsmanship, on full display.
So whether you’re a foodie or looking for some french dinning to impress that date of yours, BOUFFE by ADJEY is on the list.
