Toronto is raising a glass to 50 years of cinematic magic, and Don Julio is right there at the heart of the celebration. Returning as the Official Tequila Sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival, the house of Don Julio is bringing cocktails, style, and a fresh way to toast the city’s biggest cultural moments. Headlining the festivities is the Canadian debut of Don Julio 1942 mini bottles—small in size, big in presence, and designed for those quick, stylish cheers that punctuate every TIFF moment.

Afterparties
Across town, Elevation Studios keeps the energy high from screenings to after parties. Don Julio cocktails will flow at events for Mile End Kicks, Steal Away, Bloodlines, and Honey Bunch, with interactive photo activations, red-carpet moments, and smart, shareable ways to sip and celebrate. Whether you’re stepping out of a premiere or slipping into a midnight gathering, the 1942 minis are set to become the accessory of the evening.
Nobu at Night
Nobu At Night (September 10–13) transforms Nobu Bar & Lounge into Toronto’s late-night headquarters with Don Julio at the center. On September 10–11, guests with reservations will be treated to an exclusive Don Julio 1942 mini-bottle cocktail to open the night. On September 12–13, the experience turns up a notch with a speakeasy-style mini bar tour on arrival—each guest welcomed with a 1942 mini-bottle cocktail before being escorted to their table. With DJs setting the vibe and limited bottles available nightly, Nobu At Night is the only place to experience 1942 minis in a venue setting this season.
And when the credits roll on festival week, the story continues. The Nobu At Night series returns every Friday through October 31, inviting guests back to keep the celebration going with Don Julio. From red carpets to late-night lounges, TIFF’s 50th is a tribute to the city’s taste for culture—and to the tiny bottle delivering outsized style. As the festival turns fifty, Toronto’s love affair with film—and a timed toast—has never looked better.
