Few collaborations manage to last beyond a season, let alone a quarter-century. For Fall/Winter 2026, Arc’teryx and BEAMS are celebrating 25 years of working together with a limited-edition anniversary collection that revisits their shared history while introducing their first complete bouldering kit. The partnership dates back to 2001, when former BEAMS buyer Kei Hirosawa helped initiate the brands’ first collaborative capsule. That release included the Arro Backpack and Theta AR Jacket, establishing a relationship that would bring Arc’teryx’s technical mountain design together with BEAMS’ distinctly Japanese approach to fashion and culture. The anniversary also arrives as BEAMS celebrates its 50th year.

A classic returns
At the centre of the new collection is the BEAMS Theta AR Jacket, a revival of the 1998 Arc’teryx hardshell. The updated version uses waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX PRO ePE and retains details including harness-compatible pockets and oversized zipper pulls. Its colour blocking introduces one of the collection’s defining themes. Dubbed “Kōyō,” the palette takes its name from the changing colours of autumn leaves in Japan. BEAMS’ signature Crazy Pattern is reworked through autumnal tones, with its recognizable orange playing a prominent role.

The apparel lineup continues with the BEAMS Gamma Jacket, a wind- and water-resistant softshell featuring a throwback Arc’teryx logo, and the BEAMS JOGEN PANTS. The latter draws from Japanese-Americana style with a relaxed, wide-leg silhouette, adjustable bungee hem and lightweight Stormtech cotton-nylon construction.
From the crag to the city
Rounding out the collection is a heavyweight 240gsm brushed jersey long-sleeve T-shirt featuring graphics celebrating six products from the collaboration’s history. There’s also a 15-litre BEAMS Konseal Pack constructed from Arc’teryx’s 315d Hadron fabric and a five-panel BEAMS Gamma Hat made with recycled Aequora AirPerm softshell fabric. The collection features gender-fluid silhouettes and colours exclusive to the anniversary release.
“For 25 years, Arc’teryx and BEAMS have bridged two worlds, creating style-forward pieces that perform in the mountains,” said Arc’teryx Chief Creative Officer Katie Becker. “What keeps us connected is our constant iteration, treating performance and creativity as one conversation.” The limited-edition Arc’teryx x BEAMS Anniversary Collection launches globally online and in stores on September 25, 2026. The brands are also marking the occasion with Museum Exhibition pop-ups in New York City from September 22 to 24 and Tokyo from September 25 to 27.
